The In-Home and Community Supports Committee provides a networking forum for PAR members providing In-Home and Community Supports (IHCS), Companion and Unlicensed Respite to identify and act on the changes that need to occur to ensure these core services are preserved for the greatest number of ODP service recipients living in a private home.

Daniel Greene is a dedicated family advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, passionately championing their rights and inclusion. With over a decade of leadership as the Executive Director of Finance and HR at PA Connecting Communities, he has driven financial strategies to support community programs for those with special needs. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he brings a strong educational foundation to their work. Additionally, as a licensed notary, he offers trusted services to their community, blending professional expertise with a deep commitment to advocacy.

Paula Grochowski, Chair

Paula Grochowski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience serving the IDA population in PA and a passion for driving innovation and excellence. Paula has developed expertise in Family Driven Support. Her strategic vision and ability to foster collaboration have led to notable improvements in The Everyday Lives of the individuals supported by Supportive Behavioral Resources, Inc. (SBR). Starting out supporting just a handful of individuals and growing to over 200, Paula leads a team of Directors, Managers, supervisors, and Program Specialists to ensure the best everyday life for all in her charge. In her new role as Executive Director of HCBS services at Supportive Behavioral Resources Inc., Paula spearheads initiatives that ensure services, including supporting families and individuals, while staying current with all federal, state, and local requirements for service. She is known for her commitment to meeting families at their point of need and ensuring that everyday lives are supported while best practices are upheld. The Vision and Mission of SBR are the core driving principles of all she accomplishes, including actively seeking opportunities to mentor others and promote professional development within her team. Paula is an active member of PAR and The Alliance, where she contributes her insights and collaborates with peers to advance the field. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, which reflects her belief in maintaining a well-rounded life. With a dedication to continuous learning and a track record of success, Paula Grochowski is a dynamic force striving to make a positive impact in her field.
