Associate Member Benefits

Becoming an Associate Member opens the door for your organization to network with PAR Provider Members through exhibiting and sponsorships.

Network at the PAR Solutions Conference! It’s the only conference of its kind in Pennsylvania, heralded by many as the must-attend conference of the year for those interested in Pennsylvania's Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A) Services. Each fall, the three-day event brings together stakeholders and decision-makers (i.e. CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and Directors) from across the state and country. Our last Solutions Conference welcomed over 640 attendees. It’s the perfect time to exhibit and teach all of our attendees about your company and what you do, and you are also welcomed to attend sessions. Check out the brochure from last year’s Solutions Conference: Mindfulness!

Network at the PAR Policy Conference! Each Spring PAR will host a two-day Policy Conference focused on current hot topics and advocacy followed by a hill day and rally. Day one will consist of informative sessions at the Harrisburg Hilton, and hill day/rally will take place on day two at the Harrisburg Capitol building. Exhibit opportunities available!

Network at a General Membership Meeting! Our average General Membership Meeting hosts approximately 130-140 CEOs, CFOs, and Executive Directors from across the state. Upon joining PAR as an Associate Member, you will receive a membership plaque at the next scheduled General Membership meeting, along with a few minutes to introduce yourself and your organization to all those in attendance.

PAR Talk
PAR Talk is a members-only call that PAR hosts every Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. lead by PAR President & CEO, Mark Davis. This members-only briefing brings you critical updates and up-to-date information from the PAR Policy Team along with other staff updates. Immediately following PAR Talk, Lisa Mathis, PAR’s Director of Policy and Administrative Relations, leads an in-depth update on CPS and Transportation. We welcome questions and your feedback at the end of each call. Watch your inbox, we send out the call in information for the call each Thursday afternoon!

PAR Mail
All PAR members receive PAR Mails, an electronic publication that keeps members informed about policies, practices, action alerts, and upcoming events related to Intellectual Disability and Autism services in PA.

Committees & Workgroups
PAR supports a growing number of committees and workgroups that focus on a variety of different issues that have been identified by our members as important to address. Check them out here!

There are two great ways for our Associate Members to get involved:

1. Attend and participate! We welcome all members to join our open committees and workgroups. Our Associate Members add great value and can also benefit from the information discussed, but we ask that you not promote or market your business in any way.

2. Sponsor a meeting! Sponsorships allow you to market your services and products! Take a look at our list of committees and workgroups and let us know if there is anything in particular you’re interested in and we’ll send you sponsorship information.

Continuing Education
PAR offers Continuing Education credits, free of charge to its members, for attending conferences, General Membership Meetings, and committees and workgroup meetings. PAR works with the following accreditation agencies for approvals: State Board of Accountancy, Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), National Association of Social Workers (NASW) - PA Chapter, State Board of Nursing, and Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). PAR also offers Certificates of Participation, which can fulfill agency and regulatory requirements.
