Anne Couldridge, Chair
Executive Director The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties [email protected]
Anne Couldridge has served as Executive Director for The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) since 2017. Under her leadership, the organization has found innovative ways to take on the challenges facing the disability field. This includes a strategic focus on workforce development, legislative advocacy, systems reform, and community development.
Anne’s passion for CPARC began in 2003. Her special needs family relocated to the area and they found themselves in need of support from CPARC’s Advocacy services. Wanting to give back to the organization that helped her family, Anne began volunteering with CPARC. This developed into several leadership positions including her six years of service on the CPARC Board of Directors. Anne was also a member of CPARC Leadership Team and held the position of Director of Development.
Anne is active in organizations outside of CPARC. She currently serves as President to the Arc of Pennsylvania’s Council of Executive Directors. She received the 2021 Erman A. Gentile leadership award from her Arc Chapter peers. Anne also serves as Vice-President of the Cumberland-Perry Housing Initiative which serves to expand housing opportunities in Cumberland and Perry Counties for vulnerable populations with low to moderate incomes. In June of 2022, she graduated from Leadership Harrisburg Area’s Executive Leadership Series.
Anne’s passion and determination to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities is derived from her 26 years of life experience as a special needs parent. Anne was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She is mom to three boys including her stepson, Mathew 32, Andrew 28, and Connor 22. Her family settled in the Carlisle area in 2003, when her husband, Mark retired from a 20+ year career in the United States Air Force. Their favorite assignment was the 6 years they lived in Alaska. Anne graduated Summa Cum Laude from Shippensburg University and holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies.
