Managing Director of Programs/Services

Position Description:
The Managing Director for Programs and Services provides oversight and leadership for the management team and operation of programs for our employees, our consumers, and their families. This position assures the effective and efficient management of CI’s programs and services. The Managing Director monitors the fiscal, regulatory, and programmatic viability of all programs and assures the quality of services provided, the competence of staff providing services, and the community support of all programs throughout Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania and the State of Delaware.

As this position is a key member of the Advisory Team and will provide leadership to those programs that are critical to success of the Agency Mission, the ability to work collaboratively is essential. 

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • Ten to Fifteen years of Mid-Senior level Management experience. 
  • At least 2 to 5 years of Program experience, specifically in the Human Services arena.
  • Evidence of strong financial management expertise is a plus.
  • Demonstrated Quality Management, Change Management and Risk Management.
  • Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Educational background is preferred in one of the following areas: Human Services, Business Administration/Management, or related field.
  • Although educational background will be considered for this position, demonstrated ability to successfully manage and develop Programs in the Human Services Field is more important to the success and viability of this position.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution, team building, and process improvement skills as well as the ability to think creatively for problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively work with internal and external stakeholders will ensure the efficient operation of the Agency Programs.
  • Ability to successfully complete all Agency and State Regulatory requirements (Pennsylvania and Delaware) at the time of hire and ongoing throughout the employment relationship.
