Position Description:
The Managing Director charts the path and leads the staff to meet the needs of our Individuals and our Programs through their effective communication, fostering respect, trust and collaboration amongst team members while creatively responding to a constantly changing environment.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • A minimum of 10 – 15 years of Senior level Management experience.
  • 10 – 15 years of experience supporting the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities population and Residential Programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degrees preferred.
  • Evidence of strong fiscal management expertise including understanding operating budgets and fee schedules.
  • Ability to apply this knowledge to grow and support our programs and the Individuals receiving services. 
  • Demonstrated Quality Management, Change Management and Risk Management skills and experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant licensing regulations in the States of Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Organization Description:
Serving persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities for more than 50 years, Community Interactions, Inc. is seeking a Managing Director to lead our Programs and Services operations. 

CI, Inc. supports more than 250 Individuals through our Residential, Life Sharing and Adult Day Services Programs throughout the States of Delaware, Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania. The position will be responsible for oversight of programs exceeding $ 30M in revenue and supports more than 500 employees. This position is a key member of the Executive Team, setting the standard for the operations of our Programs, its quality, and its growth.
