Position Description:
What you’ll do:

  • Assist in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of all Division services meet stated objectives in accordance with contracts and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide oversight to the assigned Childhood and Ancillary Division programs (TechOWL contract programs, Assistive Technology programs, Independent Living Technology Program, Family Support Services program, and Early Intervention program).
  • Provide programmatic direction, guidance, and support to staff members to ensure compliance with Division operations.
  • Ensure proper administration of all referrals and program operations including evaluation for opportunities of program growth and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, key stakeholders, and vendors by participating in meetings and workgroups.
  • Ensure provision of services and maintenance of individual service documentation, billing, and required reporting per contract.
  • Provide direct supervision to assigned Childhood and Ancillary Division program staff through regular meetings and ongoing communication and feedback.
  • Assist in the development and review of program related operational guidelines and procedures for continuous quality measures.
  • Assist Director with budgeting including the development and monitoring of program related revenue and expenditures and review of aging and processing of reversals.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all administrative tasks.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting outreach activities to increase awareness of the various programs within the Childhood and Ancillary Division.
  • Ensure team and individual support of internal and external regulatory compliance through audits, tracking, and progress feedback. 

Specific Requirements and Preferences:
What we’re looking for –At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Associate degree or technical certification within a related area with 5 years supervisory experience or Bachelor’s degree within related area with 3 years supervisory experience. 6 months to 2 years of previous jobs related experience.
  • Areas of Study Related to the Position: Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Healthcare Management, Human Development, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Social Work.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Access to regular use of a vehicle with valid insurance coverage.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required. 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Knowledge specific to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or the aging population.
  • Knowledge specific to various types of assistive technology devices including augmentative and alternative communication devices, adaptive equipment, and seating and positioning.
