Licensed Lead Clinician


Position Description:

  • Perform intake assessments within the outpatient clinic, completing all items on the assessment form. Recommendations for services to be provided are included.
  • Provide psychotherapy and support to client in the outpatient clinic setting (or with SPIN residential individuals as assigned), implementing therapeutic goals that were agreed upon with service recipient and added to the Treatment Plan.
  • Services provided are in collaboration with person(s) being services and support the individual’s or families’ recovery goals.
  • Models therapeutically appropriate interactions and professionalism while on site. 
  • Participates in ongoing professional development training to maintain professional standards and/ or licensure and adhere to agency regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrates clinical competence in their field of study. 
  • Participates in individual and/or interdisciplinary group supervision on a minimum of monthly basis. Update supervisor on all clinical concerns in a timely manner.
  • Communicates positively and effectively with families, team members, other SPIN employees, supervisor and external parties regarding issues, data and progress and the successes of each individual to support achievement of outcomes and assure quality service.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in the best interest of SPIN and the health and welfare of its service recipients and employees.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • MA or MS in Psychology Discipline
  • Prior experience with children and youth 
  • Licensed as a professional Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist in Pa
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
