Position Description:
This position is responsible for supervising the CPS program according to DPW licensing regulations and LCARC policies, procedures and philosophies. This position assists the RPD III in assuring the needs of all individuals are being met and that quality care is being provided to ensure their health, safety and welfare. 

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop, implement and monitor ISP’s, Assessments, Review Revision & Action Plans.
  • Review progress notes.
  • Assures activities are appropriate and reflect individual choice.
  • Schedule ISP meeting and quarterly meetings.
  • Member of Interdisciplinary team.
  • Attend meetings with support agencies.
  • Keep records current and up-to-date.
  • Insures provision of medical, dental and other health related services.
  • Responsible for documentation on appropriate LCARC forms.
  • Reports problems with staff and individuals to RPD III.
  • Conducts staff meetings, case conferences and in-service training programs.
  • Supervises TAA’s & the TASW.
  • Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and signing performance evaluations for subordinate staff in accordance with LCARC policy and procedures.
  • Perform regular direct care TAA duties as required.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation as required.
  • Represent the Agency in a positive manner at all times while fostering collaborative work relationships with supervisors, employees and peers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • Candidate must possess a four-year degree in the human services field and five years of experience as a Supervisor of Therapeutic/CPS Activity Services or comparable experience with Pennsylvania Waiver services. 
  • This position requires that the candidate possess high integrity standards, foster collaboration with peers, have good organizational and communication skills, and be computer proficient, specifically with Microsoft Office. 
  • The preferred candidate will also have experience supervising activities that reflect individual choice and provide for community participation through the development, implementation, and monitoring of ISP’s, Assessments, Review Revision, Action Plans, and Progress Notes.
