Position Description:
Keystone Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services to work out of our Hummelstown, PA office. The Director of Clinical Services serves as the clinical leader supporting our Mental Health services and is a member of the Mental Health senior management team. This person provides direction and supervision for staff surrounding clinical tasks and functions in order to ensure the fidelity of supports. This person also directly provides advanced clinical services including, but not limited to, comprehensive assessment of individuals supported; functional assessment of behavior; development, implementation, and evaluation of behavior or other support plans; training in support/treatment plan implementation; monitoring of support/treatment data with regard to clinical effectiveness; clinical consultation; and training others in the use of behavioral methods. The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical oversight of all levels of clinical staff supporting Keystone’s Mental Health programs and also advises Keystone Human Services clinical activities as a member of Keystone Human Services Clinical Leadership. This position requires knowledge and application of recovery principles, strength in establishing, directing, mentoring and supervising staff in the application of Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles across settings (i.e., residential through fee-for-service home and community), use of critical metrics/data to assess efficacy and adjust/inform services accordingly from the individual to the service-levels, and strong mentoring and direction for all staff in the provision of recovery-based clinical supports.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • Licensed professional in the health care industry (preferably Psychology but LCSW, LSW and other degrees may be applicable) licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, preferably in the professional field of Psychology.
  • Doctoral degree is preferred. Master’s degree and professional license required.
  • Continuously practice, promote and uphold the ethical requirements of the professional body through which their license is held.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring and managing clinical staff required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people at various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to respond effectively in high stress/critical situations.
  • Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and daily use of a privately owned vehicle.
