Assistant Supervisor, In Home Supports Program, Bucks County

Position Description:
Access Services is hiring an assistant supervisor to work with our Delaware Valley Region In Home Supports program. The Assistant Director will provide a combination of coordination, supervision and direct care support and training to individuals with intellectual disabilities living in their own homes or their natural family’s homes. 

The assistant supervisor will:

  • Have a caseload primarily in Bucks County
  • Assist with the coordination of all of the services and supports outlined in the Individual Support Plan of care according to organizational, county and state policies.
  • Assist individuals in the community and in their own homes with a variety of tasks and activities.
  • Attend all necessary meetings relating to both the support and coordination aspects of the individuals being served.

Compensation and schedule:

  • This is an hourly position.
  • The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM with flexibility.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: One year of direct care experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills. 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with individuals, their families and individuals from local agencies.
    • Ability to effectively interact as part of a team.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Knowledge of basic family dynamics.
    • Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms and technologies
    • Be a superuser for Evolv and other platforms as necessary.
